Our History
Jean-Jacques Castoldi founds our firm in Geneva.1839
Philippe Dunant writes the definitive work on intellectual property law, establishing our firm’s enduring specialisation in intellectual property.1895
The firm contributes to the creation of the “Société suisse du droit d'auteur” to protect copyrights.1950s
Charles-André Junod and Jaques Guyet become partners of the firm. Charles-André Junod specialises in administrative and banking law, later becoming a professor and dean of the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Law and professor at the University’s Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences. Jaques Guyet specialises in intellectual property law and unfair competition and later serves as Chairman of the Geneva Bar.1958
Michel Muhlstein joins the firm, later becoming a partner and emerging as a leading specialist in intellectual property law.1971
Alain Bruno Lévy joins the firm after serving as head of the Swiss Federal Banking Commission’s legal department in French-speaking Switzerland. Alain Bruno Lévy later becomes a partner, alongside Charles-André Junod, Jaques Guyet and Michel Muhlstein, and is recognised as an expert in banking and financial markets law. He also teaches commercial and banking law at the University of Fribourg’s Faculty of Economics.1981
Laurent Muhlstein, an intellectual property law specialist, and Oren-Olivier Puder, specialising in banking and financial law, become partners of the firm, following in the footsteps of Michel Muhlstein and Alain Bruno Lévy.2012
Lorine Meylan becomes a partner, having developed her expertise at Geneva's leading law firms and now taking our firm's specialisation in business law to the next level. 2019
Professor Charles-André Junod passed away. He marked our firm by his vast legal and scientific experience, as well as the values he transmitted.2022
